Here is what our team members say about working here and living in Vermont : First of all, Vermont, specifically the Deerfield Valley, is beautiful. I love the 4 seasons and how festive each season is here in the valley. Downtown Wilmington is always beautiful with our flowers in the summer, fall décor in the autumn and the lights at Christmastime. Vermonters celebrate everything from local crops like maple syrup and blueberries to tractors and Old Home Weeks. We have the most beautiful lake for boating and swimming in the summer and ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter. Mt Snow is also open for seasonal events ie: skiing and Mt biking, festivals, concerts, hiking, etc… I love the small town vibe here in the valley. I love that I know each and every one of my patients on a very personal level. I may literally have 3 generations of a family in my chair all in one day! Everyone in the Deerfield Valley takes care of one another. When one of us is In trouble, whether for health reasons, financial reasons, or an accident or tragedy, within hours someone is starting a fundraiser, collection, rides, clothes, food….whatever is needed! We take care of our own. That carries over to working at DVDC. We are like one big (sometimes chaotic) family! Dr Ruhl prides himself with always providing his staff with the latest, greatest, and safest technology and gadgets known to the dental field. Being the Chair of the board of Dental examiners here in Vermont, he sets a very high standard of care in every aspect of the field. He worked tirelessly during the Covid 19 shutdown to make sure that when it was deemed safe to open we could do so knowing we had the very best of everything from PPE to air quality. When friends and family asked me if I was nervous about returning to work, I could honestly answer no….I knew that we wouldn’t be opening if Dr Ruhl wasn’t completely convinced it was as safe as possible! You will also not find a more generous boss to work for. Sometimes on very hot days he will surprise us with creemees from the stand down the road, or on super busy days where lunch seems like it won’t happen he will order pizzas. Small things like that really make you feel appreciated. But the biggest reason I choose to work at DVDC is the Thursday morning treats he brings us from Sticky Fingers!!!!

Deerfield Valley Dental Care has been part of the dental community for over 40 years. The practice/team has an excellent reputation and looks forward to expanding our team. We are conveniently located in Wilmington Vermont. We are a privately owned company and hold regular team meetings to allow the best communication .
