Over 80% of the population has some form of periodontal disease, yet practices routinely overlook periodontal treatment. Why? Primarily because doctors and hygienists are not trained to diagnose and treatment plan periodontal therapy.
This course reviews in detail clinical and diagnostic factors for periodontal disease along with criteria necessary for identifying cases for different forms of periodontal therapy and long-term maintenance.
